well, i am going to be very graphic here. I've had my nose, ears (obviously) and nipples pierced, the worst? my ears were by far the most painful. with the nose however, the pain is bearable. you'd probably want to sneeze afterwards so try to keep it in. by the 3rd day things should be fine but take care of your piercing. the nose tends to scar easily if you get an infection. i'm left now with something that looks like a blackhead. b very sure it's what u want

Yes it can hurt especially if you have thick nostrils.

However it is probably only about a six ot of ten pain at workst. Its a short hard cross between an injection and a pinch.

Its over pretty quick and doesn't hurt much after.
As long as you are prepared for it. If you have had your ears pierced its only a little worse but then again its only done once!

it hurts a lot, but the pain subsides really fast -- after that as long as you keep it clean and clear from infection, it's fine. be sure to wear a stud that is smooth -- i had one that was too textured. it had tiny corners, and i looked over my shoulder while i was reaching up for something in the kitchen -- the stud caught in my sweater and when i turned back the ring ripped right out through my nose. that hurt for a lot longer than the piercing did.

Nose hurts less than ears from my experience, and when you get your ears done you have to be pierced twice in one session and your ears burn which i didn't get with my nose. the only thing that happened was that my eyes started watering.
Get it done by someone who knows what they are doing and get a small stud. also after a year or so I decided i didn't like mine anymore and its healed over perfectly....

Dear Chic****
If you have had your ears pierced, you will definately manage the nose piercing. Just make sure the person who is doing it knows what they are doing, and the tiny flat stud must be pure gold untill you are comfortable with taking the stud out yourself. You'll be fine.!!!!!! luv peppa-anne

Well it didn't hurt for me or my cousin but we have a high pain tolerance.....so i didn't hurt me but it could hurt you. But if you have your ears peirced then you should no it only hurts for like 2 seconds and then it's fine. Just go and do it and be brave!

If it's done in a salon, it is no more painful than getting the usual ear piercing.

If you have a friend do it, depending how competant they are--oh, yeah!
