If you know there phone number you can try a reverse directory there is lots of free ones just search for them or you can search the verizon web site or may be the Post office directory

i do not think you can , well at least not in the UK, everybody is subscribed to something, it could be anything from tesco club card to readers digest to the rspca, we became a subscribed nation without knowing it, the government is VERY happy with us doing that because they can get names, address anything they want at a click of a mouse, BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING

Go to yahoo home page, scroll down and click on people search. Then type that persons name and what state he or she lives. It will give a list of everyone by that name.

Try googling (or yahooing) for their full name, and a town name if yuo know that much. You might get lucky.
I'm assuming you can't just ask them where they live, cos that'd be the easiest way.

really you shouldnt be able to get personal details its breaking the personal data act. If i work with somebody as ask the office for their phone number they can not pass it on i have to ask that person direct.
