Guys, of course, pass out like logs after they experience an orgasm during sex. However, my fiance winds up fully awake after having an orgasm and frequently cannot fall asleep for a long time. How can we address this (help her sleep after sex)?

It's a "problem" because she needs to sleep so she can work and function the next day. It's not as if she would prefer to stay awake in bed.

Get up and have a hot chocolate or a port or something with her, a nightcap. Buy something special she may like to drink. Chicks like that kinda stuff.

It is not so much that women stay awake after an orgasm as it is that men have an overpowering need to fall asleep. All that blood flow inside a women's body revs her up like a good workout. Men's bodies just want to rest to make more little soldiers while a woman's body is telling her to move and get the already employed soldiers into position. Nature has its own plan for your bodys.

Well, a hormone is secreted in males to make them lie down after sex, and it's basically a huge release that tires you out. The combination makes you sleep pretty quickly, but women are hormonally different, and are of course capable of multiple orgasms. I suppose the excitement is what keeps her awake, but masturbation helps encourage sleep because of the physical assertion.

Sorry mate, but as far as I can tell, she'll just have to find a natural way of sleeping. Whatever makes her tired, I guess.

Try making love slowly, drawing it out so that she's worn out. It's the adrenalin rush some women get during great sex that's keeping her awake. She could try an over-the-counter sleep aide, or ask her doctor for a prescription for something if the otc doesn't work. You could also try giving her a soothing back rub afterwords, that sometimes will calm someone enough to help them get to sleep.
