What is this phenomenom called? Why is it so funny?

Inhuman phenomenom, many people enjoy this by laughing and consider themselves superior to others; however I do not do so.

The only time I truly enjoy laughing at other peoples pain is when I'm the one that inflicted it...and the condition is called human nature...as to why its funny...becasue ALL humans have just enough of a sadistic streak to find it so...that's why the three stooges are STILL funny after all these years...it is the exxence of slapstick comedy...that's why we all laugh when we see a guy take a hard shot to the family jewels, or someone slip on a wet floor...we laugh because if isn't us....

Yeah I have done it. I have even laughed at myself in my own times of physical or mental pains too. I am not sure what its called and I don't always feel like laughing my way through life either though. If laughing is bad in this context does that mean that if I don't laugh that it must be because I have a heart? Just calling out what might be the the pink elephant in the room.

hi to be honest i don't enjoy it ofcourse i enjoy when the other person too is happy with what he did like falling over a banana or for some silly mistakes. but laughing when other person is in pain (knowingly or unknowingly) it will become a curse for us.

if it's a close friend then i don't. but i'm a natural comedian, so i still make jokes about it.
i'm not sure if it has a name, but it reminds of Bender off futurama, so maybe "Alcoholic Robot Syndrome"?
