I have gone as high as $250. But I have other commitments for my money, so would never think of doing this regularly.

I have a friend that still lives at home that often buys $600 shoes. Her parents don't charge her any rent, so she figures it's okay to indulge herself this way.

I have never noticed much difference between my regular $100 shoes and her $600 ones.

The most i have spent on a pair of boots is £150.00. I wouldn't normally pay more than about £50-£60 but these were a pair of Knee High New Rock Boots. They are seriously heavy duty, made from leather, rubber and metal and come with a lifetime gurantee so I was happy to pay the price!

Depends on the type of shoe and the occasion that it’s for. If it’s just for general use or for going to work no more than £50. However if it was to go to a party of a special event no more £100. However if it were a pair of Jimmy Choo’s I and they were on sale I would stretch to £120, but no more than that

Buy cheap, buy twice. Depends on the shoe but for work shoes i normally spend around £50 - £60, going out shoes, around the same price and boots around £100.

I once spent over $40.00 on a pair of heels. I can't believe how much people spend; vanity.

But now even sneakers cost that much
Of course boots cost even more more.
What are we to do? Inflation goes up, minimum wade stays the same

Wow! I can't believe some of the other answers!! No less than $100 and no more than $500??!! What happens if you find a pair at Wal-mart for $10 that you looove!? You don't get them because they're not expensive? The most I've probably ever spent on shoes is $50 and that's stretching it! I want some of your jobs to make that kind of money to waste.

Depends on the shoe and the designer! If you like them and they're what your after it doesn't matter what you pay for them but I'd say bout £400 is bout the limit for pair of shoes.
