that so many men resort to the the "comb over" surely it would be better to use clippers rather than perform a work of art on their heads that ends up looking like a shredded wheat ? ladies , your opinion ?

I definitely agree. My (young and active) 74 year old father went for the "comb over" look for as long as I can remember. Finally, a few years back he went for the clippers and WOW...what a difference. He looks ten years younger.
Comb overs are right up there with mullets as far as being outdated, highly unattractive,and down right wrong!

There is obviously some men, who like us women, are quite attached to their hair and will find it difficult in comming to a sensible solution to try and disguise their hair loss. Talking to a barber or hairdresser might make them find the courage to cut it and get a look that suits them. If they still find it difficult, getting a tupee or wig (professionals) will look real and give them the confidence they so sorely require. I personally would say; think about it logically, get it cut off and learn to live with it or get some professional help. Either is better then leaving it there, to look in the mirror and discover it doesnt look that great afterall.

Hello!! :o) I agree.... I think many 'comb-over' guys would improve their looks IF they just cut those few remaining strands OFF. But.... it IS their hair and they can do what they want with it. Yep. Comb over is stupid. Everybody KNOWS they are bald! They are not fooling anybody! And what's worse? It looks terrible. Cut it off or get a weave!
