i cant play bothings there is noone at the poker table and there is no ball for basketball

just approach the ball in the basketball court and a button will appear depending on the game console you're using and about the poker thing, first you have to reach the place where there are many casinos.I think the place is called Las Venturas. Get inside the casinos and you can play poker inside.

Leave the johnson house and to the north side of sweet's house is a basketball court. Walk into it and walk up to the basketball. Press triangle (It'll say in a box in the corner) to start playing. If you can't find a basketball, you've probably saved at Madd Dogg's mansion, which causes a bug that stops you from playing basketball. In the Four Dragon's Casino, or Caligula's Casino, Approach the machines in long lines. Press the button it tells you to (It should say you're about to play poker, if it's not find another machine). I don't know of any bugs affecting poker though.
