We use the ZAR-South African Rand. The exchange rate today is $1 equals to R7,33702. (It changes every day) If you are exchanging in a bank in America they will charge you with commission. Therefore the exchange rate will be R8.16 is one dollar. If you are not a member of the bank you are exchanging at, they will charge you an extra $10 dollars overall as well. Hope I answered your question;)

I dont understand what the word 'equal' has got to do with the crime statistics you have presented in your question. I do however know that everybody is equal. Nobody is better than the other. HOWEVER if Thabo Mbeki can spend such a fortune on a retirement home he is not equal with us but a terrible leader. We have other people who could do with just a R100 in SA but he still insists on having a great retirement. Selfish if you ask me. USA and SA have got nothing to do with each other. Keep the USA out of SA's business. Kim.
