The term is Ectopic Pregnancy. This most often happens when the fertilized embryo attaches to the wall of the falopian tube rather than the wall of the uterus. It also happens, although considerably more rarely, that the embryo will exit the falopian tube, but miss the entrance to the uterus and attach elsewhere inside the body. Such pregnancies are extremely dangerous and most often they are terminated for health reasons since neither the mother NOR the fetus could survive.

It is called an ectopic pregnancy. Here is a website with more information:
http://www.babycenter.com/refcap/pregnancy/pregcomplications/229.html

If a fertilized egg implants outside the uterus, it's called an ectopic pregnancy. One in 50 pregnancies ends this way. After conception, the fertilized egg travels down your fallopian tube on its way to your uterus. If the tube is damaged or blocked and fails to propel the egg toward your womb, the egg may become implanted in the tube and continue to develop there.Or the egg implants in an ovary, in the cervix, directly in the abdomen, or even in a c-section scar.

This very dangerous to the mother and the pregnancy must be terminated to save the life of the woman. Check out the website. Tons of great information. Hope that helps. Take care.

Umm... I'm not quite sure what you mean...

Some babies are fertilised in vitro (test tube babies). Although I think there is some condition where the foetus grows in the body, just not in the womb creating health problems for the mother.
