We, people from sub-continent, are very optimistic people. We pid down hopes with our teams despite knowing the fact that they can not make it. You ask yourself, coz I have asked myself about Pakistan, and give yourself an honest answer then you will not be needing to ask such a question at Yahoo. India and Pakistan with their present form, a very weak mental strength, and unprofessional approach to the game can not win world cup. But to make you happy I would say one thing there is one way both India and Pak can win and that is if they include Ricky Ponting, McGrath, Damien Martyn, Adam Gilchrist, Bret Lee, Andrew Symonds, Mike Hussey, Nathan Braken, Shane Watson, Micheal Clark and some other australians in their side then they have 95% chance of winning the 2007 world cup.

According to me it's just a matter of time.We can make guesses but it may not be true.Let's just wait and see,who wins the cup!!! I would also like seeing India win the world cup,but u know there are stronger teams than India.

Yes, India could win the World Cup, their possibility of winning is similar to all the other teams!! The only way they could become ahead of the rest is by learning from their mistakes and performing consistently in all aspects of the game...if this happens they could prove to be the dark-horse of the WC 2007 and who knows would win the World Cup...It's really pointless in doing guess work, let them show their hardwork, determination, passion for the game and for their nation!!

India will never win the world Cup if they play like in the ICC champiouns Trophy. They rally sucked throughout the tournament. Not even 1 player performed well.
