People that believe there’s nothing after life, how do they live?

Question

The thought of it will make me so negative! People who believe it, have nothing ever happened in there life that they can say it’s from above? I’ve seen so many miracles, blessings and mercy in my life…Don’t they believe, because it will make life easier for them to live with-out quilt?

Well when you see spirits (not the alcoholic type) almost everyday (like I do).. I have no choice but to believe there IS definitely life after death. Those who don't believe have maybe had nothing happen to them to make them believe that this is true. Messages from beyond are around all the time, but most people ignore those signs.
For the majority that don't believe I can only guess their view will change once they get there!

i dont believe in life after death,,i think you live,you die and hopefully in between you have contributed something,,when you go you are either worm fodder or ashes,,it has no bearing on my happiness or my mental well being thinking this way and i too have had many trials,blessings and miracles but i do not give those to god,,i am as much a believer as not,,show me proof and i will believe,show me nothing,,i will sit on the fence quite happily.this is absolutely no reflection on those with faith ,,indeed it is your right and for some it does get you through the day but for me,,i suffer not a tot without it,,i have all i need and want to have a full life.i have no guilt,i have no emptiness,i have no hole where faith should be,,each to their own i say.

I too have witnessed many things which I cannot explain however they do not tell me that anything continues after death indeed even scripture refers to that fact.
but away from scripture I look to the far off prehistoric past to the cave dwellers when someone the first someone perhaps died they thought them asleep until they began to stink then they moved them just outside but still it was to much so they began the burial process,later coming onto the persons creations a tool or pipe perhaps they began placing these with their friends departed,later Gods would be as well as demons created for every purpose,much later the purpose of hopeless hope -life after death.
the greeks believed their Gods were as real as modern culture believes theirs are,yet we refer to the Greek gods as myth,perhaps in a thousand years are less the same will be said of ours of today.
David the Psalmist said the dead did not think were not aware their is nothing in Sheol and Solomon said at the near end of his life all all is in vain.
So no I do not believe that there is life after death though I truly wish there were just as much as the 12 yr old kid wishes Santa were truly real.

How can you possible prove the fact that the there's life after death. It's a perceprion which varies from person to person. You 'may' believe it coz you have had ,as you said , experienced the miracle.. Not all ... I don't think that there's anything after life...

There are so many people who did evil things with a thinking or concept of no after life, If we study the life cycle we will fins that nothing vanishes..infact it is converted to another thing...and this process goes on.., This concept of life after death gives us the message to do good deeds in our life, so that we may have a peaceful life after we die.

They seem to function quite well. Having nothing to look forward to is not necessarily a reason to not go on living. They simply decide to live a day at a time rather than base tomorrow on today.
