what is the best chat room, or site for reg ppl?
i went on to yahoo chat about an hour ago, and it was very raunchy, and with a low class of users, i mean not everyone, but every one who popped up asked to see my boobs, and then asked if they could see me on cam, i am looking for a chat site where you can have good chat with guys/ppl who are sorta normal, they dont have to be totaly normal, just a bit.

I've been to other places, included ones mentioned in some of the answers, and they are all about the same. The key is finding the right room.
I've mostly chatted in Yahoo for about 12 or 13 years now. The bots are really making it a pain though. I just set chat to ignore anyone that isn't on my messenger list. Then the pervs can't pm me and I don't have to worry about it. And the ignore feature... use that one A LOT.

I chat on Yahoo 360. You can chat with people you know or you can open to the public. Depending who is on. I have alot of fun changing my avatar and talking with all my friends. Check it out!

I would think that any free site is going to yield users from the general population. Maybe you can find a "pay for site" and theat maybe filter out all the people that don't want to get on there and be serious.
