Because they have grow up and realised that it is not essential to have a man in their life, they know what they want and they don't settle for second best, they know that men also have to put in the effort in a relationship, and they don't let their men get away with bad behaviour. They earn their own money, and respect themselves, so men have to make more of an effort. That's why, they don't let men use them.

I know three girls that are over 30 and not married and I have that they did it to them selves. They have become old before there time and set in there ways. This also applies to guys. If a person doesn't learn the art of being in a relationship they will blame everyone else around them for their failures and then say that they don't need to be with someone to be fulfilled while at the same time being bitter and resentful.

By the time a woman is 30 she is very set in her ways. It would take an exact match of a man to meet her now linear needs. By the time they are 30 they have become independent and rarely marry or settle for someone after

Because by the age of 30, they already know what they want to do with their lives. more than likely they have already established themselves as an indivudial and in their careers. not to mention their independence which will not be taken away. if they are to get into a relationship with any man then it will be as an equal partner. not with these unwritten unbalanced domestic roles depending on sex. they have been doing what they have been doing for 30 years or more. and that will not be taken away without a fight.

I know what you mean. Older women (and men, for that matter) start to get set in their ways. And older women start to get a big huge chip on their shoulder for some reason--maybe because of aging, maybe because they think that all the good guys have been taken, maybe because of a whole long line of bad dates.
If a woman gets to 30 and isn't married, maybe she needs to "bend" a little bit and stop looking for perfection. Chances are she's not perfect, if she takes a long, hard look at herself.

Thats the common notion.. that women at 30's are difficult to deal with because of deffensiveness but I think it is not deffensiveness but they are just being just of themselves and balanced thinker when it comes to relationship, learnt a lot better than teen who are easily got blinded by "love" and fooled by their emotions.
What's difficult in dealing educated, mature and balanced thinker then? Maybe, u just say it coz its difficult to fool them.
well, I'm not into 30's yet...heheh

There are no laws that says a woman has to marry at any age but society thinks they should. So if a woman decides she wants her work in stead of a family most people look down on her. Sad because to each their own.
