Can there be an any better presidential/vice presidential choice than this for the Dems.?

I see 4 more years of the GOP. If the Democratic Party wants to win, they have to offer mainstream candidates.

Feingold is a man of principle. He would be my #1 choice. To those who think he's too far left, I'd say, what does it matter, even flag-burning-amendment supporter Hillary Clinton is reviled by the opposition as an "extreme" leftist.
Obama also may be a good candidate, but not viable because he's black. There's still too much racial prejudice in the US. Consider one fact that the Senate contest in Tennessee has highlighted. The South has not elected even one black senator since the Reconstruction of the 1870's.

I think Obama and Cliton should be on the ticket. Russ is a great guy who tells it like it is and can be a little to harsh when he speaks the truth. Obama and Cliton have a way to make the truth sound good and not so horrible that people like. Remember that American public is dumb and wants to be lied to, if that was not true then poloticians would not win by running the dirtiest attack ads.

I think it'd be a beautiful choice, but it'll never happen. I'm putting my money on Evan Bayh as either president or VP. Unless Hillary gets the nomination, then I'll vote for whoever's running from the GOP.
