Due to a large gathering and celebration on the eve of Christmas (that's when we have our feast of turkey, potatoes and gravy, cheese, olives, homemade noodles, green bean casserole, mac and cheese, deviled eggs, warm breads, oyster dressing, chocolate pie, raspberry pie, pumpkin pie, cakes, cookies, candies, and blue gill and crappie (treat from the spring). Christmas day we all have a huge breakfast (sausage gravy biscuits, eggs, toast, pancakes) and eat left overs the rest of the day while we play and enjoy one another.

Christmas Eve is full of appetizers, light cold cut sandwiches, salads and stuffed pasta shells w/sauce and meatballs. Yum! Christmas Day we used to have Prime Rib with the potatoes and all the other goodies. Now we have chicken parm, baked chicken, pasta, salad and fresh bread. Then, of course, plenty of desserts! It's a bit easier meal to manage and allows us to enjoy the day a bit more.

No appetizers served here. We always have a turkey, ham, homemade dressing, rice, turkey gravy, greens, yams, casseroles, green beans, potato salad, baked mac & cheese, cranberry sauce, deviled eggs, rolls, cornbread. For drink, sweet tea, sodas, and russian tea. For dessert, sweet potato pie, cobblers, cakes. We try to have a large variety so everyone will find something they like.

Usually my family has 2 Christmas dinners. The first, w/ just my mom & my little sister, consists of beef or chicken & rice.
The second dinner is one we have w/ my dad's family (mom & dad are divorced but we still eat w/ them & visit them often) but when we go, we always have lots of appetizers (primarily Portuguese in origin) & for dinner we eat a lot of barbequed meats (chicken, beef & duck) & both rice & potatoes. For the last year we've been cookin' it Fijian style as well, in an underground pit (Fijian caregiver who takes care of great-grandma).

After opening gifts Christmas morning my family has a Champagne Brunch. This includes eggs, bacon, pancakes, fruit cup, juice, sausage w/ country gravy and biscuits and, of course, champagne.
My kids are grown and 2 of them are married but still come here early in the morning to open gifts. Having a brunch allows them plenty of time to visit with their inlaws. It also lets my husband and I have a relaxing afternoon not cooking all day.

nicely on Christmas morning..we've warm Cinnamon rolls.. and we've a prior due lunch or early supper variety meal..we've Turkey, mashed potatoes with turkey gravy, Corn, candy potatoes, stuffing, Pineapple-cheese salad, baked beans, dinner rolls, and we've handmade breads and pies... it could sound lots regardless of the shown fact that it final for a pair of week... somewhat somewhat worth the left overs...and we confirm the business enterprise we've over takes some to..

I put out cheese & crackers to hold them over till dinner. I serve the same menu every year: ham, mashed sweet potato casserole, stuffing, corn, green beans, crescent rolls, & cranberry relish. I do make a canned ham, but it turns out excellent. My family says it's even better than Honey Baked. They totally lick their plates clean.

I am Italian so we have our Italian feast! My aunt makes this killer eggplant parmesean. We also have ziti and meatballs, and antipasta salad. We throw some other foods into the mix but usually these are the staples for Christmas. Yum!
