I use outlook for all my work appointments.I also have family "stuff"(birthdays aniversaries etc)on my home pc.These personal appointments get synchronised via my PDA into my work calendar whenever I Sync at work or home .How do I keep personal appointments separate, people in work don't want to know my son has a birthday party to attend on Friday 12th Nov at 5pm,however my wife does need to know I have a meeting at 5.30 on the same day.

Outlook allows you to assign categories to calendar events. and then do a display by category. Use the 'business' category for business and "personal' for personal business.

1. On the Go menu, click Folder Llist.
2. In the Folder List, in the Navigation Pane, right-click the Calendar folder, and then click New Folder.
3. In the Name box, type a name for the new calendar, such as Personal Calendar.
