well let see i mean that can mean a lot to a person for instance if the couple have been together for a while 1-2+ years and well having that reassurance that your still in love with the person can keep a relationship healthy and strong.....some people would like a reminder once an a while that the other person still feels the same as when they first met....

It could either break or make opur relationship. The constant need for reassurance in a relationship stems from poor self -image. If we had it then we wouldn't need such reassurance.

This sounds like a dependent relationship. The individual is insecure and this will drain the fun out of the relationship. I suggest that you either seek help to make changes or move along to someone less dependent. Either way, good luck.

It implies massive insecurity on one of the two...whilst constant reassurance is a bit of an annoyance, their is often other symptoms....The insecurity can manifest itself in other more destructive forms such as paranoia & general distrust which are much worse!!

It breaks the relationship down...
You need to have confidence in a relationship. There's a reason the person is with you and not someone else. You have to accept that and move on to bigger and better things.

The lack of self esteem is the reason. In the begining it may seem nice, but after a while it;s going to drive you crazy...

The partner will just get tired of it and leave him/her for someone else (someone more confident and less clingy).
