I am a 5'9 female who is applying for a local police department. One of the requirements I will be tested on is scaling a six foot wall.
I can't seem to find any six foot walls in the basic area, other than privacy fences, so does anyone have any advice on options or exercises that I can do to get ready for this?

I have about two weeks to get ready.

Scaling the wall requires a combination of upper body strength and momentum.

Run at the wall, jump up, plant the toe/sole of your leading foot against wall while pushing up with that leg, grab the top of the wall with both hands and pull yourself up and over.

The most critical part of the process is to get your midline onto the top of the wall with the initial momentum.

It would be very useful to watch others do it before you try it.

No hassle-free way the final element to do is to bounce and grab the precise of the wall and pull your self as much as the element the place you could swing your physique and get one foot on precise of the wall so which you could use to drag your self over.
