I think my skin is really sensative, and i get what i think is razor burn. Some times it seems as if my hair gets cut so short it gets under my skin and then tries to grow out all irritated.

I find gilette good news razors to be the sharpest, Don't use the swivel head model. You can use one about three to five times. Use Barbasol shave foam, it is the thickest and doesn't burn or stink. Only shave with the grain, no more than two strokes over the same strip. don't press, that is why I recommend a light razor, better control. You probably don't need to use soap on your face, Just a warm eash cloth. Some people say to use cold water , it makes the skin firm up. Pull the skin up on the side to make the whiskers stand up. Don't use after shave and be sure and rinse the lather all off. Best to shower after shaving.
Don't ever touch your face with your hands. They are germy.
Good luck. If this doesn't work, you are screwed.

Shave with down strokes only, don't shave "against the grain" from the bottom up. Use "sensitive skin" shaving cream,Barbisol has one.

If this doesn't work, start using an electric shaver, it doesn't cut the whisker as close.

Many times men don't wash their face before shaving. This is very important. You should always wash and exfoliate first. Then, always use a fresh sharp blade, and avoid shaving against the direction of hair growth. Then follow up with a good moisturizer.
