i work at a grocery store in the frozen food department. I have to go in the ice cream freezer everyday with the temp about 15 below zero. Deal with it. Don't cry and go to the nurse to get sent home.

Health And Safety rules say that if the temperature is NOT at 16 degrees within 1 HOUR of starting work you can go home.

Ooh, I'd love that, it's too hot in my office, the heating's stuck on a permanent 25 degrees c even in the summer. I love my cold temps, so that's far far too hot for me. I'd be happy with 15 or less, 10 degrees c is ideal for me!

Is it your fault? Then you might well get sent home. I guess that's 10°C not 10° Fahrenheit - unless you're working in the Arctic circle and the heating's on the blink!

No you can not. Make representations to your boss so that if the situ does not alter you will be frozen stiff and that he will lose in the end. Bet you he will introduce heaters and all things will end well.

You either get permission to leave or you ask them to do something about it. You can't be the only one who's freezing, talk to the others and do something together.
