As long as the OB/GYN has not put the woman on bed rest or pelvic rest, she can have sex as often or as infrequently as she'd like up until she begins going into labor.
Pregnant women really shouldn't abstain from sex just because they are pregnant. Having sex will boost morale in the relationship. It is all very good.
The baby is not going to be harmed. It is wonderfully well protected in the uterus. It is not going to be getting poked in the head by a penis or anything. Hehe :)

As often as you like or want up until about two weeks before your due date. Pregnancy is a very special time in your life so enjoy it in every way. Get a book called "what to expect when you are expecting" and follow the development of your child week to week. Enjoy!

You must totally stay away frm sex in the first 3 months. Even the Doctors are advising that its safe to do sex after 3 months, I think its better to look up your health also. Why do sex if u can enjoy the movements of the baby. Also sex shpuld b avoided in the last months
