It'll have been about them losing. Look at what they've acted like with Manchester United.

Arsenal have had a very fustrating season. That match defined it. From Clichys Yellow through to the penalty that was never given. The ref completed disrubted the game especially when Arsenal tried to get fluent.
You must understand the Arsene works extremely hard every day on the team, and when things constantly never go your way it gets fustrating. I know if i lose at something and someone goads me about it, which Pardew did, the red mist comes very quicky.
It also doesnt help in my opinion that teams dont play like this against our rivals. Has anyone noticed how rubbish teams have been playing against Man Utd. Wigan, Liverpool, Bolton and Portsmouth gifted them the points, yet when teams play against us they will die for the cause.

I think itz more of the way Pardew celebrated the goal than the fact tat Arsenal was losing... U could see clearly tat Pardew was alittle over the top with his celebration tho itz understandable as West Ham had been underachieving with the talent they had and this result will certainly spur them on... Still, I think Arsene Wenger should have kept his cool given his status... Well done to West Ham for their hard work and performance in this game...

I think both incidents coincide.
Its tough to see your opposite counterpart celebrating when things are not going for your side.
