a pop-up blocker is a program which is installed on ur pc, which associates itself with browsers like Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. what is does is prevent pop-ups from appearing on your screen. pop-ups are mostly ads. they are added to the temporary internet files or Cookies. ads can be really annoying at times. they just pop-up out of nowhere. pop-up blocker prevents that from happening. you can get pop-up blockers from yahoo, etc....
