When my guy and i broke up, we saw each other 4 the "last time" and he told me of how i have a choice, either to be with him while his going out wit this other girl or i can leave. I felt so humiliated and insulted. And that he had no respect for woman although i just found that out and all the time weve been dating i never knew he was such a scumbag.
Did i do the wrong thing seeing him for the last time, and am i simply angry or is he really a jerk?

You are angry which you have every right to be. Not only is he a jerk and a scumbag but a pompous arrogant self centered loathsome clot headed pig. He shows he has the integrity of a hyena and the style of a poison toad. You know what's in store for this other girl. She will get the same deplorable treatment too.
You're better off with it being the "last time" with this idiot as your life can only improve by being far away from that swine. Best choice you ever made seeing him for the last time. Make sure you never see him again. Don't lose any sleep over it either !!

What Does Ultimatum Mean

2016-10-14 02:28:39 · answer #2 · answered by borja 4 · 0 0

People are not able to make other people suffer for eternity, but no ultimatums are not a part of love. Unless we are talking tough love in which the end goal is better than the current state (ie drug abuse and a parent making his child he loves go to treatment. ) This ultimatum is the ultimate love. But ultimatums such as "propose to me within three weeks" or "buy me a pair of concert tickets or else" do not contain love. You must look at the motive of the person giving the ultimatum to see which of the above two categories it fits into. Greed or ultimate love.

What exactly are you asking...because it seems to me that you have a pretty good grasp of the word ultimatum? I think what probably should of asked was did I do the right thing? The answer if all the above is true ofcourse, is yes. No one should have be in a relationship with somebody while the partner is seeing someone else. That is demoralizing, and degrading is a better choice of words by the way.

I think you know the answer to this. Sounds like he's a jerk. You shouldn't have to feel like you have to put up with him seeing other women if you want someone to be exclusive to you. I don't think it was wrong to see him for the last time. I think what you got from that last meeting was "closure." If my guy said that stuff to me, it would give me the peace of mind to know that I left for a good reason.

An ultimatum is an unreasonable demand that is not expected to be met so that the person that gives you that ultimatum gets a favourable result with either answer.

he is a jerk and a scumbag from what you have written. nobody deserved to be treated that way. it is called "respect", ok? you are a great girl and still young and this is part of our life, but believe me it's not the end of the world for you. you can find another much better and deserving for you, ok?
