What are the differences between Phone Lock and Sim Lock? And how to unlock both locks?

I need to know all the things about how to unlock any kind of a phone lock.

sim lock locks the sim provider to that phone or the sim and the info on it and phone lock locks the phone regardless of the phone, sim lock can be fix by a code from your provider,
phone lock is harder and usually easier to buy(or steal) a new phone, this usually happens after you have incorrectly entered both the pin and puk codes wrong too many times(after that the phone can only be reopened by the manufactuer)

One locks the phone (regardless with a SIM card or not). The other one locks the SIM no matter what phone you put that in. You should have a code for each one.

this could count on provider: I relatively have the LG Chocolate and that i lock my telephone a lot, while this is locked no you will open the menu, hear to music or do any of wonderful factors('cept alter quantity point) Unlocked, nicely it unfastened to do something :)
