I asked a question about assassinating the Village Idiot in charge of the US and I get threats...

I thought the US Constitution allowed freedom of speech, and the Americans go to great lengths to state that they have a freedom to say what is on their minds...

Seems that things are no better than the Americans say other countries are like... The ones they are trying to "liberate" for democracy!!!!

Freedom of speech is just an ideal, a concept!!! It's not 100% reality.

As you have your rights, others have theirs. Their reaction to your opinion on Bush is not a threat, but an exercise of their own rights. Continue with the exercise of your right by insisting on what you said earlier and ignore any rantings. This way, the rights of all are exercised by all.

All these are really a publicity stunt only. You and I are free to voice as the world is yours and mine. When we feel that others do not have any right, problems would arise. Give share to others of what you want for yourself.

If that were really true and we were free to voice opinions and questions, then we wouldn't have all the stupid people on here that report you just because they feel like it.

freedom of speech does not include threats or fighting words, nor words that or meant to cause a situation which could prove deadly such as screaming fire in a crowded building, nor does it include defaming someone.
