There are Four Seasons in the UK Spring which can start as early as the beginning of March and goes through to the end of May.
Summer which is supposed to start in June and Finnish in September.
Autumn which can start in September, but this year it has only just started and goes through to mid November
Then there is Winter, which is December to March.
But all of this depends on what the weather is like here, sometimes the middle of winter can feel like summer, and totally the opposite has happened, where there has been snow in the middle of June!

In Scotland we have four seasons, but that's each day!

Seriously, the weather here is nothing like people make out or believe, it's similar to any other part of the UK, and often much better. Today in Edinburgh it's 13°C at 09:30.

According to the Met Office:

Winter: Dec-Feb
Spring: March-May
Summer: June-Aug
Autumn: Sep-Nov.

There are other definitions, but I prefer to believe Philip Eden, The God Of Weather Forecasting.
