NO! Call an OB/GYN doctor or nurse right away. They can tell from your voice what your pain levels are, and if it is normal.

Check to see if you are spotting blood before you call. Write down when the cramps and stomach ache started. It's easy to forget this stuff when you are on the phone with a doctor or nurse. BUT, if you hurt too much to write, just call -- or better yet, GO!

It is normal to experience some kind of discomfort, at 4 months you should start to experience brackston hicks as your body starts to prepare itself for the labour, for this reason you start experiencing these practice contractions once you hit your half way mark. Back pains are associated with most pregnancy's but if it becomes unbearable then contact your doctor to give you something to help ease the pains.

I am 23 weeks so just 5 months and have server back pains, most of the day, I never had this with my first 2 pregnancy's but this pregnancy is terrible, I have just invested in a rocking chair for breastfeeding but have found it wonderful for my back pain, much better then the lounge chair which I can sink into. It straightens my back and I have very little aching while using the chair. Find something that works for you as the pain may well increase as you get further along as your belly grows outwards it puts alot of extra pressure on your back.

Best wishes. Good luck

At this phase you are most likely experienceing that growth of your abdomine ....legaments and tendons and muscles are stretching. Your uterous is tilting back a bit. It will pass.

But, don't take our word here. Call your doctor in the morning and ask about it.
