A mentally challenged man who was a regular at a flea market I used to go to. The first time I saw him, he shook my hand, told me his name and asked my name. After that day, any time I saw him he would say hi by my name and give me a hug--he was a gentle soul.

A former fiancee's father who is a retired U.S. Admiral who was in Special Forces during the Viet Nam conflict.
A former Canadian Prime Minister.
A former boyfriend who is a U.S. Army Colonel.
My late Father's oldest friend who is a retired Special Agent with the FBI.
Someone who works for me who is a retired Lt. Colonel.
Have you noticed how doctors now call themself "Dr Jack" or "Dr Mike" instead of "Dr Smith" or Dr Jones"? How weird is that. Lol!!

I had an on line friend. On the surface we had nothing in common...she was 20 years older...half blind...overweight..a very low intelligence level (Not an insult, a fact...she was tested for disability due to this)..and we became the best of friends.
