My brother and his wife live near Denver. They went to a large playground with the kids. It went well. There's a lower oxygen level there than in other parts of the nation so it's perhaps even more important to do something relaxing.

it depends on the ages of your kids and the time of year you go, but there's a real nice water park (water world) and also a six flags. there are all sorts of entertainment and sporting venues. there are lots of nice parks, cherry creek reservoir is nice in the summer for an afternoon. skiing within a couple hours in the winter. hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, sledding, shredding, you name it, Colorado has it as far as activities. you could take the kids to the spaghetti factory restaurant. take a walk along the 16th street mall and check out the people.

It may seem boring to them at first, but just take them to a park on a nice day.... enjoy nature.

They will appreciate it later in life... I promise.

It's the simple things like trees and fresh air that we miss the most when we think back to our childhoods.

This will also be more cost effective for you and instill an appreciation for nature in your kids. My parents did it for me and I feel very good about that.
