One sure way to improve pronunciation is to listen carefully to others pronouncing words correctly and then repeat it after they say it. Practice while watching a television show.

Remember, when you approach a person, they are the same as you with the same fears and the same desires. It is easy to talk with your friends, right? See everyone as a possible friend.

Dont feel that you're talking to an alien...you are going to talk to a human who is just like you...if they are stranger then they too dont have any idea about you and in the same situation as you are in...so just approach them like how you talk to your friends or your newly moved in neighbours...if they show any interest in speaking they will answer you politely and ask you a few questions to get acquaintised to you!!
Regarding pronunciation...you need to keep asking your friends whom you think speaks well on how to pronounce and also practise using it among your friends while you talk before using that in public...you might do mistakes once or twice but dat will be limited only to within your friend circles!! Also try to use simple language as its not compulsary dat u use jargons and new words in your speech!! All the Best :)
