The spray on tan takes a bit. Ask the tanning salon the amount of time it would take before it would show. They would have a better idea, but I think the tan has to be done a week in advance. If not, I would try a self tanning lotion. If you go to the high end stuff then it has a better chance. I hear Clarins has a great one but definitely depends on skin type/color. But these days, it's not always cooler to look so tan. I think the pale type skin is hip these days as well. I think this late, you shouldn't risk doing anything. The last thing you want to happen to you is to show up burnt or orange or even make you not want to go to the party. Just be yourself and have a great time!

Try Mystic tan (you can get one at any tanning salon). You stand in a booth and a spray tan mists you. You will have results with hours. It's about $25 each time and you can do it as much as you want until you are happy w/ the color. This is what I did for my wedding.

When you get a spray on tan it sets right away you might want to get it done a couple of time before you go depending on how tan you want to be , it only lasts for two weeks though.I know because i went to school for Esthetics and I learned how to spray tan.

remember, getting tan from light (sunlight or tanning lamp) is caused by ultraviolet light, the most dangerous type of light.

so essentially, the more tan you are (from sunlight or a tanning lamp), the more unhealthy your skin is.

so try tan lotion :)

if you try tan lotion, be very careful how you apply it, especially around elbows and knees, use a little bit, and rub it in very well. just my 2 cents.
