If it is not an optical mouse, and is the one with ball then maybe it needs cleaning from the bottom side or from the inside around the ball.
Usually the optical mouses now doesn't get dirty fast, so i guess it is better, even it is more precise and effective.

If you are not using an optical mouse, just clean the ball with soft clean dry cloth.

If your mouse is optical then try to use a different mouse pad preferably for optical mouse. If the same problem persists then you have no other choice but to buy a new one.

we r helpless if it is optical mouse,
if ur mouse have ball inside then c bottom of u r mouse u can remove the flap and take out mouse ball just clean the ball also clean the inner side. if u c inside u can c 3-4 bars n clean them safely. when the cleanning work is over u can put mouseball in. put fla on and u ll c the mouse is working properly
