Just like other things. money, power, fame , sex...... everything is good. but your life should not be spoiled and lost because of these. you just utilize them in the right manner. must know that they are not the aims of yr life. that's all. not necessary to be good being without sex.

One of our family friends is 63, never been married or interested in one sex or another - (I've asked). He lives with his 93 year old parents and takes care of them. I would think that if he had married or been in a relationship of some sort along the way, that his life would have been fuller and more contented. As it goes along now, his parents will probably pass away in a few years and he will be alone with just his memories of the past and no one to share his future.
So knowing this man and his lack of desire for sex, I would say no, it wouldn't offer much benefit at all. After all, sex is a very natural way to heal away stress and makes us feel connected which is important to longevity.

I think young people would be better off if they didn't until they knew what life was all about and were old enough to accept the responsibilities of a real relationship. There would be no unwanted pregnancies, and children would not be having children.
