because i'm confused as i thought that we just need to buy the Cd and we can just play it online for free? If we do not play online is there any other mission?

you need to pay a monthly fees to play on blizzard servers
but there are people who run cracked servers where you can prolly play for free. you can make your own servers also...it'll have all the NPC's and quests but you wont be able to do quests where a raiding party is needed unless you have others playing with you
and yes...setting up the server is a DAMN HARD

Well, if you're not absolutely set on WoW, you could look at Guild Wars instead, as there's no subscription fee.

nope. you have to pay every month. return the game if you can't pay - otherwise there's no point.
