I like Morpheus, myself. But I haven't used some of the other popular ones like Limewire.

you recognize utilising a p2p application is like dozing with a street whore. you won't get a STD from doing it a pair of times, yet you will ultimately. p2p is the least complicated thank you to get malicious virus/secret agent ware. I dont use them anymore, torrents are the way 2 circulate. You get extra desirable determination of classes/data/etc and that's plenty quicker and sturdy! Your interior the stone age with p2p!

If you use one these days, the likelihood of you being sent a court order for illegal file sharing will go up 100%

Best to find one that costs you to download each track, that way you are staying on the right side of the law.

Definately limewire. It is clean: no messy configurations (although initially you will need to do a very simple step by step configurations and you're done). It is also very fast no questions asked. i have previously tried Morpheus, but it took a whole damn day to start a small download with the most peers.

"If you use one these days, the likelihood of you being sent a court order for illegal file sharing will go up 100%"

this isn't true, and it doesn't make logical sense either:

chance of you getting a court order now = 0%

chance after it "goes up 100%" = (0%)(100%) = 0%

???

anyway... soulseek's the best for music, especially for rare stuff (like indie). a lot of what's on soulseek is legal, too. emule and limewire are decent for other stuff, although personally I use BitTorrent (it's the best if you know how to use it).

make sure to download PeerGuardian though - that's the simplest way to prevent yourself from getting caught. you'd be surprised who monitors your Internet (I get a lot of blocked attempts to monitor me from the US Department of Defense)
