why are my parents gettin a divorce? what reasons are there?

There could be lots of reasons. Could be because she makes more money but it could be because they just grew apart from one another. It could be anything. But you never have to wonder if it's you. Your the one thing that they both still love and will always love. As hard as this is for you to hear them fight and yell your being very brave and strong. Things will work out for the best and even if their divorce doesn't mean they won't become just good friends again. If the yelling is that bad and if you feel like you can talk to them about it ; then do. Go to one of them and just tell them how much you love them both and you are trying to understand whats happening but the yelling really bothers you. Ask them if there's not a way they can talk without all the yelling. Ask them both but at different times. Maybe they'll understand that you really don't need to hear them yelling and that the fighting is bad enough with out that. Keep your chin up and if they can stop yelling tell them you'd like to stay over at a friends house for the night or at a grandparents so they can deal with the issues without you having to hear it all.

Sometimes they will not argue over the real reason. You are looking at one of the symptoms and not the cause. The should go to a counselor for help if it isn't too late to help iron out some issues. Usually a divorce will happen because they realize they will be much happier apart.

First of all, you need to know that it is not your fault and has nothing to do with you. Parents have a lot of stress that their kids don't know about and will never see. I can't tell you WHY they are getting divorced, but just so you know, you'll be okay. When you are older, you'll understand. My parents divorced when I was 19. I was mad at first, but after awhile I realized that I'd rather see them happy and apart then together and miserable. Best of luck to you! :)

People have problems, marriage is a commitment; it's work.
They may have just gotten overwhelmed and see that as the only eescape.
