Ordered a calzone for delivery with my credit card. Got a call back 15 minutes later. They accused me of making harrassing phone calls, cussed me out, and refused to deliver my order. They said that the harrassing phone calls came from a blocked number but they thought/knew it was me harrassing them. I obviously didn't do it. She continued to yell ay me and cuss at me... so I asked for her boss, and she said that she was the manager. I drove to the place to get my credit card information and address back from the crazy person that called me cussing. She refused on the grounds that the owner took the information and left.

I want an apology from the lady that was rude, so I am getting in contact with the owner tomorrow. Whether or not the owner can get me the apology, I want to make sure as many people know about this terrible business etiquette as possible.

I need suggestions on how to get the word out. Thanks

=print fliers from your computer telling this story and place them on windshields at the mall and grocery stores. You could also picket outside the store but you may need a permit.

This person definitely needs to be fired, especially if she's the manager! As a professional, she should know better than to use obscenities and yell at a customer who she has no proof made any harassing phone calls. And, she was most likely BS'ing you about the owner taking your information and leaving. If the owner had been there when you called, then why didn't she give the phone to him when you asked for her boss?

I would try to remain calm and be polite and respectful when speaking with the owner. I would explain to him that you have been a supporter of his business and you hope to continue to do so, but that you were the one who was harassed (or threatened, if she made any?). If he truly cares about the public image of his business, he will act accordingly and discipline or fire her.

If he doesn't care, other than the other suggestions, you might try contacting your local paper. Our paper has a column where those in the community can post questions or concerns.

Good luck!

I would see what happens with the owner tomorrow. Make sure you have the name of the person you are accusing. Other than that, never recommend getting pizza or anything from them to anyone. If their name comes up, tell them what happened to you and to beware. Let the owner know that this is what will happen. Word of mouth is the best advertizing.
Also make sure you get your info back. If they are a pizza chain, write a formal letter to the companies CEO about the way they do business. Fill a complaint at the BBB.

This is a tough one and the answer is different if it's a ma & pa place or a chain.

If it's a ma & pa place:
1. don't go there again
2. tell everyone you know
3. call the credit card company and explain that you want them to do a "chargeback"
4. don't eat the calzone!!!!

if it's a chain:
1. call the 800 number with the location of the joint and the name of the person. complain and explain. they will get fired.
2. do number 3 from above.

either way..... call the better business bureau in your area and explain the circumstance.

No matter. you can never eat there again because your food will be spit in.

Get a hold of the local headquarters of that pizza place. This is above that alleged "manager."
If you get no sympathy or simply receive a pathetic letter that in a polite wording says basically "sucks to be you" then take your complaint to the Better Business Bureau and a letter to your local newspaper.
I would also strongly suggest cutting up that credit card and getting a new one because you have no clue where the info on that really went.

if it was just one employee, you probably shouldnt protest the entire business. there are good employees, there are bad employees, and some are just plain rude. if you really want an apology, go back and ask who was working at the time (if they were the one to call you back and you have caller ID you can use that for documentation) and come back at another time and explain (calmly) that they had been rude to you before and you would like an apology. if they still refuse, take it to the big boss. however, i think you ARE overreacting a bit, and this person probably thought she was doing the right thing. technically, she could have called the police about the harrassing phone calls you didnt make, and it would have been alot worse for you.

Go to the business Bureau. Try getting a local news paper or new station. They love those type of stories. Start spreading the word to other people. Believe me they will be sorry and don't give up on getting your information back, you have the right.

DON'T GIVE THE BUSINESS BAD CREDIT BECAUSE OF SOMETHING THAT A BAD EMPLOYEE DID. DO YOU THINK THE OWNER WANTED TO LOSE YOU AS A CUSTOMER? OF COURSE NOT !! THIS EMPLOYEE WAS PROBABLY THINKING ABOUT QUITTING THERE JOB AND THY DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT WHAT SORT OF DAMAGE THY DO IN THE MEANTIME THAT IS WHY THY DID WHAT THY DID PROBABLY AS SOME SORT OF PRANK . DON'T HOLD THE BUSINESS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE EMPLOYEES BAD CONDUCT THIS WOULD BE THE SAME AS WHAT THY DID TO YOU BY BLAMING THE PRANK CALLS ON YOU ( THY WILL GET FIRED )

Where I live we would contact the T.V. station and give them the information and they would confront the pizza parlor with camera rolling and ask them what happened. Here that is NEWS.
