i used to think that being 21 would mean i would be an 'adult' but i now realize that im far from grownup

When I was little, I thought my grandmother was old at 40. Now, I am 50, and I have my looks, my health, and 3 grandchildren that think I am extremely old and incoherant.

for me 16 or 17 was old and glamorous. i don't feel the same way anymore now that i am 17.
