I saw Tom Selleck playing a supporting role in a Kevin Kline movie on Sky movies last night & it started me thinking. Whatever happened to Tom Selleck after Magnum? He did Three Men & A Baby but seemed to disappear after that.
I just wondered if anyone knew what he has been doing all this time.

Gee, Thanks Brittany. I feel ancient now. I'm sure he is only a few years older than me. Now where did I put my walking frame & false teeth?

He seems to be doing mostly television guest roles these days.
After all he started there.
Recently, he played the (married) love interest of Candice Bergen in Boston Legal (several episodes)
A couple of years back he also had a run as Monica's optometrist/boyfriend in "Friends"
He has his own production company making television movies (westerns, I assume this because several of the movies I have were made by TWS Productions - his middle name is William)
If you like westerns his productions are not bad.
You have to realise he is getting on in age (born in '45) so he no longer plays the leading man.
Movies since Three Men and a Baby (1987):
Her Alibi (1989)
An Innocent Man (1989) One of my favourite Selleck films.
Quigley Down Under (1990)
Three Men and a Little Lady (1990)
Folks! (1992)
Christopher Columbus: The Discovery (1992)
Mr. Baseball (1992)
The Magic of Flight (1996) (short subject) (narrator)
Open Season (1995)
In & Out (1997) - the one you watched
The Love Letter (1999)
Meet the Robinsons (2007) (voice)

Television work since Three Men and a Baby:
Broken Trust (1995)
Ruby Jean and Joe (1996) (also executive producer)
Friends (recurring role in 1996)
Last Stand at Saber River (1997) (also executive producer)
The Closer (1998) (canceled after 10 episodes)
Running Mates (2000)
Crossfire Trail (2001) (also executive producer) - TV western
Monte Walsh (2003) (also executive producer) - TV western
Twelve Mile Road (2003)
Reversible Errors (2004)
Ike: Countdown to D-Day (2004)
Stone Cold (2005) (also producer)
Night Passage (2006) (also producer)
Boston Legal (recurring role in 2006)

Hi, he's still around he was of course on friends and also on Boston Legal quite recently. He's made a few movies but seems to do a lot of support stuff now. He is an advocate of the National Rifle Association, he's a life member and a good friend of Charlton Heston.

Nah, he's been busy! :) Thank goodness. He's made several movies, one of my favorite's is Monty Walsh. You know he was on Friends for a while right? He pops up here and there and makes movies for TNT. I really like T.S. He's one of my 'fantasy men' a list of older men that I'd like a 'few minutes with' My hubby and I share 'dream encounters' .... Sorry!! You got me right off track there for a minute :) He is around, go to search, type his name in and you can get the download on what he's been up too.
