She knows how I feel but continues to go out with other guys and then runs to me when she's been hurt. It kills me when she does this but I continue to stick by her. Other friends tell me she is using me but I really don't care. I love her that much.
Now she's with another fellow who is "getting" a divorce. He lies to her frequently but I can't get her to see that she is setting herself up all over again.
Any suggestions?

As a point of clairification, she does know how I feel. I just recently (after she became involved with this latest "beau") told her how much I love her and how much it hurts me to know she's with someone other than me. I knew she wouldn't leave him for me, but if this one falls apart, perhaps she'll consider it.

That's just cruel! Why does she treat you that way if she knows how you feel about her? Obviously she doesn't feel the same for you and this is only going to continue to torture you. Ask her if she truly understands what she means to you. Just plain old bare honesty is the only solution here. Maybe she really doesn't know that she is tearing your heart out. If she does know and continues to do it you are going to have to make up your mind if you can stand to have your heart broken continually or if you need to walk away, hurt like crazy for awhile, but then finally find someone who will love you.

I HAVE A FRIEND JUST LIKE THAT,WE NEVER HOOKED UP BUT I WAS ALWAYS THERE TO HELP THE TEARS GO AWAY WE NEVER SEEM TO BE SINGLE AT THE SAME TIME,BUT WE ARE ALWAYS THERE TO LISTEN TO EACH OTHER IT'S BEEN THAT WAY FOR 30 YEARS WE EVEN MADE A PACT THAT IF IT DON'T WORK OUT THIS TIME WITH THE PEOPLE WE ARE WITH NOW THAT SENSE WE HAVE BEEN THERE FOR EACH OTHER SO MANY YEARS NO ONE KNOWS US LIKE EACH OTHER THAT MAY BE WE SHOULD GIVE IT A GO IF WE BECOME SINGLE AGAIN,YOU COULD HANG IN THERE FOR 30 YEARS OR JUST DEAL WITH BEING BEST FRIENDS

You are in a no win situation.Notice she runs back to you but doesn't stay with you.by being there for her all you;re doing is setting yourself up to get hurt. Have you told her how you feel? You need to do this first then if she doesn't respond she does not see you in a romantic way

A good friend of mine is deciding between her hubby and her good friend (with benefits) right now. If a woman choose others she not interested in you and knows she can use you as a door mat. you might benefit from counseling so you can be in a better position to make healthier choices when it comes to finding a mate. Someone might make you melt on the inside but listen to head not just your heart.

You know, i think that you have never told her how you feel about her. I think that yiou should kiss her face and tell her how you feel. Dont let her do this to herself again Dont let her get hurt again Take her in your arms and tell her that you think that you are the one for her.

Be there as her friend always. She will need to figure out this new "fellow" herself. When it falls apart (her & him), be there for her again.
