i grew up in Nigeria, where govt sucks n there was no water in houses and the restrooms as a result. my sibling wud use d restroom and not flush it, den close the seat.
becos of that wenever i see a toilet seat down (then) i knew the toilet cud b dirty! now, even though life is much better now, and almost all w/c (restroom) i come across are clean, i feel a little dread, as if i wud see decayed..faeces...sorry
as a result i ALWAYS leave all toilet seats open...where ever i go!
whats ur story..

I used to be afraid of being splashed by dirty toilet water when I flushed the toilet. One time I actually was. It scarred me for life.

To this day I always put down the lid before I flush. This is one of the reasons why I try to avoid public bathrooms when I can: the toilets usually don't have lids to close.

I suppose we wouldn't get along too well! :)

I was afraid that monsters would get me if I didn't flash a "peace" sign at mirrors. I also count to five when I get scared. I'm 26 and still do it. (Mild o.c.d.)
