The creation way? The chicken.

The egg came first, if you consider the evolution of a chicken.

The very first chicken had a not-so-chicken parent. Let's call it the "pre chicken" It's offspring would have a mutation such that it would now be defined as a chicken, instead of a "pre chicken" like its parent. Hence when it is in the egg form, it would technically be considered the very first chicken egg, which would develop into the very first chicken.

I would say the egg. You have to be an egg first before you can become a chicken.

Yes the unanswerable question.
Even if science says the chicken was first I still go with my Great-Grandmothers(RIP) answer;
You have eggs for breakfast and chicken for dinner so then the egg came first.And with that wisdom I will follow.

the egg is more believable to me. Think aboyt how evolution began here on earth. cells, molecule seem to be closer to an egg formation than a fully grown chicken.
