I haven't had my period yet, and it's already into the next month, is that normal? But another thing is that about a week and a half before my boyfriend fingered me, and he had masturbated the night before. I couldn't be pregnant, could I? Couldn't it just be a delay?
All that's happened is that I haven't had my period, but I have been gaining weight, eating a lot, and my breasts are sore. That's pretty much it. Friendly advice and opinions are welcomed!

It's possible that what you describe is pregnancy, but I don't believe that your boyfriend masturbating the night before could cause it. You would hope that he would shower or wash his hands between the night before and being with you, right?

Sometimes, especially when you're young, gaining or losing weight quickly can throw your hormones off enough to have you miss periods. If your breasts are sore, you may want to visit your doctor to find out what is happening.

Sperm are not nearly that tough, dear. They die pretty quickly on contact with air- so from the night before they would definitely be dead. And one would hope he had washed his hands at least at some point in that extended time period.

There is really only one way to get pregnant, and it doesn't involve fingers. If you are not clear on how your body works and how pregnancy comes about, then you certainly need some professional advice. Not to mention, you probably should be using some form of birth control, or you will soon discover all you want to know about pregnancy. I suggest you make a visit to the doctor, or school nurse for an in depth education, and birth control. There are other reasons to have a late period, and although pregnancy is a leading cause, it's not the only one.
If all you have done is have your boyfriend masturbate you, then you can't be pregnant. If that's not the entire story, then you might well be. The weight could simply be from extra calories, and the breast tenderness from normal hormonal surges. But if the truth is that there is more to the story, then you need a pregnancy test, and an appointment with a doctor for starters. If it is the whole story, then you are not pregnant, but unless you wish to be a mother soon, you still need to visit a clinic and get on birth control before you go any further.

if it was the night before then hopefully he had washed his hands since then and the sperm couldn't live that long without a moist warm environment any ways. One of the most likely possibilities is that you have yourself so stressed out over it that you are actually causing your period to be late. Sore breats and eating a lot are often symptoms that you period is getting close, I've had symptoms for up to two weeks before my period before. Just calm down and let things happen naturally. Your body changes all the time, maybe your cycle is just changing. Good Luck and don't stress too much!

Your question breaks my heart. If you truly don't know the answer to this question, then there is no way that you should be doing these things with your boyfriend. And you sound pretty young so you shouldn't be doing them anyway! I am not your mother so I won't say the things to you that I want to say, the same things I talk to my daughters about all the time, but if you need someone to talk to then you can e-mail me. Goo luck and have a blessed night.

it's probably just stress.. sometimes i get weeks and weeks late only because of stress!
however, take a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side.
