okay. me and my friend. we both meausered ourselves today. [with measuring tapes] and well, we both are almost exactly the same size in inches. our waist, hips, thighs etc. are close to the same. and what i dont get is, she looks so much smaller than myself and also she's 2 pant sizes lower than me.

i don't understand that when we're the technically close to being the same measurements.

Hello,

First off as wonderful as it is to wear a small pant size, it is more important to be healthy. You should also understand that there are many different body shapes.

If she is taller or shorter than you that makes a difference. It also makes a difference how long her torso is in comparision to her legs.

Also when it comes to pant sizes, even a half of an inch makes a huge difference. Some pant sizes are incredibly similar to each other with only minor adjustments.

Consider human error as well. If you and your friend were measuring each other or yourselves, there is always a chance that your measurments were not exact. Or that the measuring tape was not sitting at the same place on your body as it was on her's. It makes a huge difference, the location at which you are measuring.

But please understand that it does no good to compare your body to your friend's body. Comparing yourself to others just will affect your self esteem in negative ways.

Also know that maybe it's not such a bad thing that you wear a larger pant size than her. Most guys I know like a girl to have a nice butt and not be a stick.

I hope this helps, and good luck!

She may appear smaller for several reasons. For example, if she is taller than you, she may appear thinner. Also it could be how her body is made, she might have more muscle than you, but less fat or vice versa. Or your frame sizes could be different. Or it could just be that you are too hard on yourself, which I think is the mostly likely reason!

At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter, because you are both skinny as heck lol! HTH : )

Close is not exactly and when it comes to clothing there is mostly not that much difference in the sizes. It may also be your style of clothing. Some people are more comfortable with wearing close fitting clothes than others who may prefer having their clothes loose.

measurements cant be exact, its really on the shape of the body, like she may have smaller hips and thats really hard to tell also she may have shorter legs, like my friend can fit into hollister jeans and i cant... theyre too big around the waist and she can fit into other jeans becuz her hips are a little wider, im soo jealous! but anyways like she looks really skinny, like skinnier than me but like her clothes are like bigger (sizes)
but whats also weird is that she weighs like 95 or something and i weigh 90...so i dont kno y that is, becuz she looks a lot skinnier than me!

"Close" is not "identical".
