The MGM Grand is both the largest casino, at 150,000sq ft and the largest hotel, in Las Vegas with over 5,500 rooms...At least is was the last time I cared to check...This place is huge, you will need a map, no I'm not kidding..The check in desk has spots for 54 clerks...On a Friday night the MGM lobby looks like O'hare airport when it's been shut down by a snow storm...

The project will also positively impact the local employment landscape, with 2,300 new jobs expected to be generated.

My father in law is workingon it right now and told me it has: Four 30-story towers, nine restaurants, two food courts and 5,690 guest rooms, including fifty-one two-story SKYLOFTS and 29 private villas. The Signature at MGM Grand, a 576-suite hotel, is the most recent addition. Towers 2 and 3 will add another 1,152 rooms to the total when they open in 2007.
