They are both striated, but the cardiac muscles striations are more spread out, and cardiac muscle is highly branched skeletal muscle is not. Also cardiac muscle has intercalated discs, skeletal muscle does not.

cardiac tissue is involuntary, it will look like long thin regular strands, tissue of voluentary muscles(biceps for example) will be irregular in shape

Skeletal muscle is striated, single, and multinucleate.
Cardiac muscle is branched, striated, uninucleate, and have intercalated disks.
