Medical doctors an dentists make the most. Lawyers make good money too, but some make nothing. Certified accountants also make good money; and yet some just make enough for living.
Sometimes, it is not what you know, but who you know that makes the different.

Doctors, Lawyers, CEO's, Specialized trades, etc. Remember, you have to work a few years to get to that level. It rarely happens just out of college.
