All three sticks are DDR PC3200 and the same brand (Kingston), I am just curious if there is a noticeable difference between having two 512MB or one 1 GB stick. I can get the two 512MB sticks for a little cheaper but I wanted to be sure if the performance is the same as having one 1 GB stick. Thanks!

the performance would be the same, the advantage of having the 1gb stick is the possibilty to add even more memory(as long as your mobo supports it) because you are using less slots. also GOOD choice using kingston-you wont go far wrong with that!!!

It would be the same. Some motherboards require 2/512MB memory sticks as opposed to 1/1GB. It depends on your motherboards specifications.

it somewhat is okay to have distinctive sizes, yet ascertain the biggest is interior the 1st slot. additionally a 32Bit working equipment, won't help extra then 4 GB Ram, so no use in putting 8 GB in .

Depending on your motherboard It WILL make a difference.
If your motherboard supports dual channel memory, having 2 identical ram sticks will speed up memory access times.
If you don't know them, look up the specs of your motherboard on the manufacturer's website
