a liberal at 21, it's because you don't have a heart, and if you are not a conservative by the time you are 30, it's because you don't have a brain? I heard that some where and thought I'd see what kind of reactions I would get.

lol...I was a conservative at 21 and a liberal at 28. :) I don't fit the mold. I don't agree that people fit into a little box. We are what we live. I was a conservative at 21 because that is what I knew. That is what I was raised as...that is what the community I was from promoted. I was told my faith was only real if I thought one way.

I am a Liberal now because I realize my faith is my own. My thoughts I own. There are some things that the liberals think that I don't agree with (I am pro-life) but I do agree with a lot of there views.

The real question is....why does the US only have Liberals and Conservatives? There should be more choice out there. Moderate would describe me mostly. I don't think we should have to be on either extreme.

blessings :)

Basically untrue.

The concept is that by 30 and a parent, you want to protect your children against those so called minority thug elements in society, and are pro the cops.

Truth is people of all races fear druggies and criminals of all races. If you taught in a mixed inner city high school, you'd see wonderful kids of all ethnicities, as well as thugs of all ethnicities.

Better err on the side of compassion while maintaining a realistic look at protecting yourself. That sort of means you are a liberal with sensible ideas, like trying to throw most politicians into jail if the citizenry could only police them and catch them in criminal white collar crime. It also means loving they neighbors of all colors, religions, and denomiations, where possible.
